Unlimited calls/texts/emails and typically two home visits to discuss hopes and plans for birth. Preparation for birth is tailored to individual needs and preferences and can include childbirth education, customized birth plan, breathing/relaxation techniques, positions for labor, etc...
Continuous, unlimited support begins whenever you request my presence - at home, a birth center, or in the hospital. Usually I stay for an hour or two after the birth to help establish breastfeeding (yes, you can!) and get you comfortable.
Support by phone and text during the first week or two with lactation referrals available on request. A home visit during that time provides an opportunity to help resource any needs and a chance for feedback and processing regarding the birth.
